In order to attend prom or any dance sponsored by Armijo, students need to turn in what is called a dance bid. The form lists many hurdles that dancers need to overcome but those who aspire to attend the events can meet those expectations by cleaning up some of the problems that might otherwise keep them from graduating.

First, students must have a minimum 2.0 GPA. They cannot have any truancies or behavior issues. They also must be fine fee, at the library, bookroom or treasurers.

These rules were put into place to encourage students to remember to excuse absences and to continue to be rewarded for doing their best. Because of the complexities and multiple steps of the dance bid, students are encouraged to get started early, setting up
