Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and people are making plans to spend time with their loved ones. One romantic restaurant in our area is Chianti Osteria, a restaurant run by the de Furia brothers: manager Carlos and chef Salvio. According to OpenTable.com, the duo was born in Naples, Italy, and are well-known in Los Angeles.

Chianti Osteria is located at 314 Spring Street in Suisun City. They serve both lunch and dinner, but timing is very important for your visit. They are open Monday through Friday for lunch from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. Then they close till dinner hours which are different for each day and can be seen here.

According to reviews on Yelp, this is a delicious choice, although reservations are recommended for Valentine’s Week.  “We were so stuffed so we had tiramisu to share for dessert, and then ordered pappardelle with wild boar ragu to go for the kids,” said one reviewer, revealing a range of dishes available at the restaurant. “I would say before you come to the restaurant please check the menu and noticed that this is a fine dining experience,” another reviewer advised. Since it is an upscale restaurant, it is recommended that diners dress appropriately.

While some people believe a trip to The City is the only way to enjoy a romantic dinner, Chianti Osteria proves that romance can be found in our own community.
