How will you make your grand entrance to Prom?

Prom may be two months away, but tickets went on sale at the beginning of March and it’s best to start looking at transportation options early. That way, when prom comes around, party-goers won’t be stressing about unpaid fees or already booked services. A lot of companies welcome early booking and some offer discounts for planning ahead.

The most luxurious vehicle of all is the limousine. Prom-goers can never go wrong with a limousine. It’s classic, chic and a definite showstopper. It may be a little pricey but there’s still time to call different companies and ask for a quote. They can either charge by the hour or from point to point which is based on the mileage and anticipated driving time from different locations. A limousine can also accommodate multiple couples or a small group of friends. If you find the cost to be by the hour, it might be worthwhile to arrange for a one-way trip and plan ahead for a ride on the way home, from either a parent or an Uber.

Another popular option is the party bus. Why sit cramped up in a limo when you could be having the pre-party on the way to the dance? Party buses are fun, exciting and totally get people in the mood for the real event! They are roomy and can usually hold from 10 to 50 people. Prices start low and are a better bargain when friends split the cost. Additional services cost additional money, of course.

A financially practical method of transportation is a car that the prom-goer owns. Why not get creative with it and deck it out with all sorts of decals and paint jobs. You can easily have as much fun with your friends in a car jamming to your favorite songs as riding in a luxury car ever would.

While choosing the method of transportation is important, another factor in the equation should which people will be riding together. Some companies still charge a set rate, even if people decide at the last minute to drop out. Make sure the people that are getting on will be reliable all the way through.

Prom, which will be held this year on Saturday, May 21, at the Library Galleria in Sacramento, is meant to be one of the highlight of the high school years. As long as people are having a great time with friends, then there should be no stressing out, especially not with the options available. The best plan is to start planning now so it is all lined up for that special day.
