Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District has partnered with Special Olympics Northern California since 2015 in a sports program to unify students with and without disabilities. The Sports and Whole-School Involvement activities have provided them with the knowledge, experience, and skills necessary to create and sustain school communities that promote inclusion, acceptance, and respect for all students. The event has proven to be successful in meeting each one of these goals as well as the students having a wonderful time.

We would like to invite you, family and friends to join us for our 4th Annual 2021 FSUSD/Special Olympics High School Basketball Event.

The event will feature competition between each high school in the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District:  Armjio, Fairfield and Rodriguez.  Volunteers will include Fairfield law enforcement, FSUSD nurses, Armjio High School ROTC, Armjio High School, Fairfield High School and Rodriguez High School leadership and Special Education classes. FSUSD/Special Olympics Basketball Event is often highlighted in our local newspapers – Daily Republic and Vacaville’s The Reporter.

The games will take place on Thursday, December 9, from 10 am to noon in the big gym.
