Now that we’re into our first official month of school, more events have begun to arise. This month we have done quite a good amount of enjoyable things that all the cadets have had a great time with! Something really fun we did this month was our annual coast and creek clean up volunteer project on September 17th. We had over 50 cadets show up with great attitudes and eagerness to clean our portion of Laurel Creek. The Corps as a whole was quite successful in cleaning all of our assigned section. Of course we also did the most we could to help out our fellow volunteers from the Fairfield High ROTC with their section of the creek, and enjoyed working with them, too.

On September 22nd we came together again as a Corps and enjoyed pizza with our friends and families while at the same time supporting our ROTC! Fifteen percent of our pizza purchases that night at Pieology in Fairfield benefitted our ROTC Corps; as well as helping bring in new customers to Pieology. And of course, it was fun to eat there!

We all look forward for more delightful opportunities this month to compare with all of the fun we had in September!
