Little Eliza Doolittle, a strong and independent florist, is a hard worker and determined to rise above her struggling, working class life. The only problem being, people don’t take her seriously past her strong Cockney accent. When she meets the ignorant, pompous phonetics professor, Henry Higgins, she sees an opportunity to finally change how others see her and asks for his help. He agrees to coach her and turn her words from hometown slang to ladylike language, although doesn’t realize just how much these sessions are going to change his life as well. Find out what comes of this odd pairing in this classic musical tale.
