Armijo High School’s Art Club hosts an art experience for students of all ages. Learn about African-American folk artist Bill Traylor and draw a picture based on his style. Born a slave, Traylor became a sharecropper after emancipation. At 85, he began to draw pictures of the life he saw around him. A self-taught artist, Bill is considered one of the finest American folk artists of the 20th century. This event is made possible by the Friends of the Fairfield-Suisun Libraries. Admission is FREE. For more information, visit SolanoLibrary.com.
