With the new year coming, everyone is looking to start with a clean plate. Even some games are looking for the same idea! Maplestory was a popular and free MMORPG. It was 2-dimensional and featured a complex story line, multiple classes, and an online role-playing community. The game was immensely popular in the past and many still play it to this day. However, Maplestory 2 was released a couple years ago in Korea, but was only recently released completely to the international community.

Maplestory 2 is considered almost completely different from Maplestory. The class and basic ideas are still present, but now available in stunning 3-dimensional graphics. Additionally, the game features a new updated prequel story line that adds more areas of interaction and side quests. It was released by Nexon as an update to the already beloved original Maplestory. It’s easy to play with your friends as a multiplayer game and you’re encouraged to make more characters in the various classes. The game also adds the ability to easily customize your avatar along with designing unique clothing for your characters.
