Erica Johnson started going to Armijo as a freshman but next fall she will be starting all over again somewhere new “I haven’t decided whether I want to go to Community College or to an Art university,” she said.

Her time at Armijo has been good and she would encourage kids just starting at Armijo to be themselves and focus on school. It seems to have worked for Johnson. “I wouldn’t change anything about Armijo,” she said. “The staff makes me feel safe and welcomed.” She has been involved in the Multimedia Academy but she doesn’t participate in any sports.

“My favorite memory about Armijo is going to my first football game and how hyped everyone was,” Johnson said. That energy surprised her.

Johnson doesn’t always have a lot of free time as she does have a job, but she also has hobbies. “When I’m not at school or work, I like drawing and painting,” she said.
