Hannah has earned the position of a leader for the AHS cheer squad.

Hannah Kildow is a cheerleader, one of the leaders of the 2018-2019 squad, but she came into the position after years of dancing. She’s been part of the squad for the last three years and she would encourage others to try out. “It’s a great experience,” she said.

Kildow doesn’t participate in any other sports “because cheer is year round and takes most of my time as of right now,” she said. While she is commited to the sport now, she doesn’t expect to continue cheering in college. Instead, she wants to focus on her education. “I hope to go to UCLA,” said Kildow. She is hoping to pursue a career in sports marketing.

While cheer has taken up a lot of time for Kildow, she has still found time to be involved in a couple of clubs at Armijo. She also has had time to enjoy singing and dancing. In her spare time, she likes to read, write and listen to music as well as spend her time out of doors.

Kildow has a younger sister, Olivia, who is 13. Her role models are her parents, “especially my dad,” she said.
