Policy Change Opens Opportunities for Prom Attendance
Recently there was a change in district policy regarding attending school events such as prom.  No longer can a student be denied the ability to attend a school function such as prom due to poor grades or attendance.

The only policy unchanged is behavior related.   If a student was denied because of behavioral reasons, that remains unchanged.

This means that any student who was previously denied the ability to pay for their prom bid due to low grades or attendance now has the ability to do so.  Or if a student was discouraged from filling out a bid due to grades or attendance, now they have the ability to do so.
Students who fall under either of these categories and still want to go to prom, can pick up a bid from F-3, B-1, or AG-5.  The forms must submitted them by the end of the day Tuesday, April 17, in order to pay by Wednesday, April 18 at 12pm.  The price remains unchanged, $115 cash.
