My name is Kayla Reynolds and I am the Sports Editor for the 2017-2018 Armijo Signal. I chose to become an editor because I have a passion for writing and communicating with others. As of now, I have played two sports throughout my high school years, including tennis and badminton.

It is awesome to be able to record scores and organize articles on the website regarding Armijo’s sports teams. It helps me keep in touch with how the school is standing against other schools.

I have been a member of the journalism club since my freshman year. My sister, Trina, was also an editor on the Armijo Signal newspaper. This is how I found out about the Journalism Club and was able to join. I also had Ms. Lynne Herring as an English teacher my sophomore year.

Journalism is definitely a great experience because it has pushed me to go outside my comfort zone to conduct interviews with students and teachers.
