The football season is over, and track season has yet to begin, but there has been many new events going on on Brownlee Field. The Monday after the final football practice, according to Vice Principal Arron DeGracia, construction started on new restrooms, a new walkway and a new entrance to the stadium.

In addition, a new scoreboard will be standing at the location when the teams start playing again. The new facilities can be enjoyed by all students, families, staff, and community members who visit “because our students deserve the best we can provide and our district supports warm, welcoming, environments,” said Mr. DeGracia.

The cost of the improvements was unavailable at the time, but it was covered by money set aside in the budget for this type of renovation.
