From Monday, December 4 through Friday, December 8, Armijo will be hosting a Winter Donation Drive. We have paired with local organizations such as Mission Solano, The Fairfield Fire Department, the Salvation Army, Reach Out And Read with The Solano Library, and the ASPCA. It will be greatly appreciated if any students or teachers donated any of the following items at ANY DAY OF THE WEEK in favor of those organizations.

The following donations are needed and will be accepted in AG-5, B-1 and the AHS library:

Mission Solano – hygienic products (toothpaste, soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, hand sanitizer, deodorant, dental floss, insect spray, and lotion/lip balm)

Fairfield Fire Department – Toys, Winter coats (toys from birth to 12 years old, coats that are small to extra-extra large)

Salvation Army – Cans (Any type of food or fruit cans)

ROAR/Solano Library – Children’s Books and School Supplies (pencils, colored markers, color pencils, notebooks, binder paper, folders, pens, agenda, chapter books, and picture books)

ASPCA – Pet Supplies (water bowls, pet food, collars, leashes, cat litter, dog bed, dog shampoo and conditioner, nail clippers, brushes or combs)

Each dress up Day of the week will represent one cause, please dress up accordingly to spread awareness of our purpose.

Monday (Mission Solano)- Wear Yellow

Tuesday (Fairfield Fire Department) – Dress up as an everyday hero (example: doctor, teacher, army attire, crossing guards etc)

Wednesday (Salvation Army) – Wear Christmas Attire!

Thursday (Solano Library paired with ROAR) – Nerd Day

Friday (ASPCA) – Bring a stuffed Animal to School!

The local causes and the leadership class would be greatly thankful for any donations and dress up day participants we can receive 🙂 thank you, and have a good day, students and staff.
