With a variety of styles, Working on a Dream stands out.

Working on a Dream by Bruce Springsteen was released in 2020, but the real album was released January 27, of 2009. The CD features Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band and it was first produced and released with the Brendan O’Brien of Columbia Records.

The album was the 16th album to be released by Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band. It won a Golden Globe award and even went and topped charts in nine different countries.

The thirteen songs in this album are unique, and even have some detail that stood out. One thing I noticed was the first song of the album, Outlaw Pete. When listening to this song I heard something very familiar, the beat was very familiar. It sounds similar to the song Holding Out for a Hero by the singer Bonnie Tyler. They have two completely different vibes, but the tunes are extremely similar.

Each song on the CD has something different about it, but what unites them on the album? The songs have lots of distinct characteristics, from the tones to the instruments that help build the music.

Something that I found interesting is how the songs sound. They fall under the category of Rock, but the sound of the songs show a different aspect, too. I get a feeling of some Gospel music, some Rock and Roll, some Disco, and even some Country music. There are also aspects of theater, too, as his songs all tell someone’s story, and Classical as you can vividly hear the light piano music.

This album was pretty good. I usually wouldn’t listen to music like this but it was quite enjoyable. I would rate this album a 7/10 and recommend it to someone wanting to expand their music taste.
