Nintendo is one way to play this game.

Are you someone who is getting tired of the same old video games? Tired of the same game you play adding the same new updates? While those may be fun, yet tiring, there’s a video game that you would most likely want to look into.

Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and The Millionaires was developed by Level-5 and directed by Akihiro Hino, with character designs by Takuzo Nango and music by Tomohito Nishiura. It was originally released on July 8, 2017, and then was shared on several platforms, starting with Android, iOS, and the Nintendo 3DS, in 2017. Then, there was the enhanced port for the Nintendo Switch in Japan in 2018, and then worldwide in 2019.

The video game is suitable to play for ages 7 years old and older. This is appropriate as the genre of this game is Puzzle and Adventure Game.

This video game has a solid 4½ Star Rating and there’s a really good written review from “greengrounds” on July 8, 2020. They wrote: “Loved it! Love the art, animations, and LOVE the music. I took off one point because some of the puzzles are annoying, but it still is a fun game!” Based on that review and the Star Rating, this game was probably popular when it first came out, but it seems to have gone downhill a bit, unfortunately.

Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and The Millionaires is a puzzle video game developed and published by Level-5. It is the seventh main entry in the Professor Layton series and follows a new protagonist, Katrielle Layton. It’s also a single-player video game, but you can play with someone else individually. The rules are pretty self-explanatory. It’s a puzzle game, so you just solve puzzles, but they’re challenging. If you like a challenge, this is the perfect game for you!

The pricing for this video game is quite a lot, but it depends on the price listings. The Loose Price is $49.28, the Box Only Price is $23.95, the Graded Price is $82.90, the Complete Price is $60.83, and the New Price is $75.36. Either way, the pricing is a bit high, unfortunately. However, on the positive side, the original release was a paid game with some in app purchases to unlock more costumes and puzzles, but the Apple Arcade release will not include any in app purchases.

Realistically, at first glance at the video game or first hearing about it, it doesn’t really seem like a very enjoyable game. Considering it’s a puzzle game, some people may find it boring. But that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a boring game. So, who would be interested in giving Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and The Millionaires a try at solving a puzzle?
