The campus just won’t be the same

Vincent Pardo came to Armijo as a freshman, but he hasn’t always taken his time on campus seriously. This senior year is different because he realized that, if he wants to walk across the stage on Thursday, June 8, and pick up his diploma, he has to be serious. As he sees it, there’s no time to be played around. Although he is doing very well in school, “there’s always room for adjustment,” he said.

One of the things that Pardo will miss when he is gone is the opportunity to meet so many interesting people. While he will have those experiences in the future, it will not be the same as it has been in the four years he has been at school, especially in the time that students have been meeting in person.

While he is leaving in less than three months, there are several students he will leave behind. To those younger classmen, he would encourage them to do two things: not fall behind on work, and get a driver’s license as fast as you can.

While Pardo struggles with his math class because it is confusing, he does enjoy some of his time off-campus when he is able to play guitar, read and play games.

His career goal is to become an apprentice for a trade.
