For Californian students, the UC system offers dream schools not too far from home.

Fairfield, CA – The Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District (FSUSD) is proud to announce that Public Safety Academy has achieved the highest University of California (UC) acceptance rate of applicants of all of the high schools in Solano County. The latest data shows that an impressive 87% of applicants from the Public Safety Academy were admitted to one or more UC campuses. Armijo High School and Rodriguez High School also ranked highly in the county with the fourth and fifth-highest acceptance rates of applicants, respectively.

“This speaks to the hard work and dedication of our students, as well as the quality of our teachers and programs,” said Superintendent Kris Corey. “We are committed to providing a well-rounded education that prepares our students for success in college and beyond.”

The UC acceptance rate is a widely-used measure of college readiness and is considered a key indicator of the success of a school district, and the latest results demonstrate FSUSD’s ongoing commitment to excellence.

The UC acceptance rate is just one of the many ways that FSUSD is preparing its students for the future. With a strong focus on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education, as well as a comprehensive arts program, FSUSD is equipping students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the 21st century.
