Although Guillermo Teodoro Mancila was born in Fairfield, he was raised in Guanajuato, a city in Mexico.

He said that he grew up in an old brick building that was pretty dirty. As a child, he left California with his parents and they moved back to Mexico because of some family problems. Eventually, in about 2010, he moved back to Fairfield, although he travels back to Mexico every year with his mom. Teodoro misses his father, his grandparents and his sister who all live in Mexico.

Teodoro is a junior this year and enjoys being part of the Multimedia Video Production class, one of the primary reasons he comes to school at Armijo. When he gets older he would like to film movies and television shows.

He plans on going to college, possibly UC Berkeley, as a sign of gratitude to his parents, and he will be the first person in his family to go beyond high school. When he has his degree, he plans on moving back to Mexico so he can see the rest of his family and make a name for himself.
