Zodiac is a 2007 film starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffolo and Robert Downey Jr. The three are not new to the acting industry at all.  Mark Ruffolo is known for his big role in ¨13 going on 30 (2004) with his co-star Jennifer Garner. As for Robert Downey Jr, he has been a part of the Marvel family for years acting as Iron man.

The 2007 project is a thriller/ mystery directed by David Fincher. David Fincher has produced many more movies with actor Jake Gyllenhall, including The Social Network (2010)

Zodiac is actually based on true events about a crime that is fairly local. During the late ‘60s and early ‘70s there was a serial killer on the loose in the Bay Area. Based off my background research, the case has been described as the most famous unsolved murder case in American history. It is possible that the case was solved in 2022, 15 years after the movie was made. For years, it was so popular that the case inspired amateur detectives to attempt to solve it.

The acting was amazing. It opened up a lot of emotions for me, such as sadness and frustration.

Growing up I’ve always been interested in watching crime scenes so I really enjoyed this movie. Even though it was a little long, once it was over I was surprised how time flew by. I was really interested in this movie, and I totally recommend it to others. My overall rate would be 10/10.
