ELO made themselves better known with Time.

Electric Light Orchestra, also known as a rock band named ELO, was created in the early ‘70s. They are still known for one of their biggest hits, Mr. Blue Sky, a track from their 1977 album Out of the Blue.

ELO has released over 10 records and sold over 50 million copies worldwide. One of those albums is titled Time and it was released the 1981.

Although the band has been around for nearly 50 years, they still have quite a few listeners after all these years, and some newer listeners, of which I am one.

Time reminded me of the band named Journey. The electric guitar sounded amazing. I heard it immediately in Track 1 and throughout the others. While this isn’t typically my genre of music, it is still good, especially if you are a rock lover. Track 7 was my favorite.  Rain is Falling  felt like a love story and I felt a good vibe from it.

This is one of those albums that has a well-written story line. Track 1 made me feel like I was heading into a whole other dimension and then it smoothly headed into Track 2. My least favorite song from this album was the second to last song, Hold on Tight . It just felt very repetitive, especially with the lyrics, and it just wasn´t my cup of tea.

An overall rate for this album is a 6/10. Again, it’s not my personal favorite genre but still decent. Many fans back then enjoyed it, and many continue to do so. I personally wouldn´t listen to it again but still a great band. You can hear it, too, and make your own decision: Time by ELO
