Graduation Cap Guidelines

Make+it+your+own+but+stick+within+the+rules+for+a+memorable+experience.

Make it your own but stick within the rules for a memorable experience.

Students are allowed to decorate their caps as long as they follow these guidelines:

1. No 3-D structures: Anything that obstructs the view is prohibited. Possible 3D structures could obstruct another graduate’s view.

2. School-appropriate quotes and images: This goes without saying. But the top of the caps will mainly be seen from the stands/spectators—NO inappropriate language or quotes on the caps.

3. Don’t Overly Decorate: Students should not decorate their caps where it will be a distraction to spectators, graduates, and anyone interacting/supporting the graduation event. Nothing can hang over the cap. Students’ faces must be visible.

If the cap does not follow the guidelines, it wiill be traded a plain cap for the ceremony.
