When the members of Armijo’s Key Club get together for their meetings in G-3 every other Tuesday at lunch, they are doing it for the good of others as well as a way to add to their service experiences.

Working with the local community, the Armijo Key Club has guided its members towards upholding the Kiwanis values of leadership and caring for dozens of years on the Armijo High School campus. Over the years they have helped the homeless, fed the hungry, and served the less fortunate in a variety of ways.

Key Club members generally enjoy their meetings and service-based projects, but many members stay involved because they enjoy bonding with fellow members. In 2017, a Key Club member of the time, Tiffany Vu, explained, “Key Club at Armijo isn’t just a club; it’s a way of living.”

With one of the nation’s largest high school memberships and oldest history as an organization, each member, whether a graduating senior or incoming freshman, has the opportunity to build long-lasting connections while serving the school and community.
