There have been many fashion trends that have come out this spring and summer of 2021. For women, they included bold colors, graphic t-shirts and baggy jeans, crop tops, blouses with puffy sleeves, tops with extravagant patterns, satin scarf tops, square front heels, bucket hats, you name it. Now that we’ve fully entered the fall season and winter is quickly approaching, we can still dress in style and keep warm at the same time. 

Some of the staples for women, in terms of outerwear, are trench coats, blazers, puffer jackets, and faux fur jackets, all of which are good options to keep you warm. Turtlenecks, button-up blouses, sweater vests, and chunky, funky and colorful sweaters are also very popular. In terms of bottoms, wide leg trousers and jeans, leather pants and skirts with stockings are some options to keep in mind when constructing an outfit or as an addition to your wardrobe. Platform boots, Doc Martens and combat boots are some of the most common options for footwear, as well. 

On the other hand, for men, popular outerwear also includes trench coats, blazers, leather outwear and oversized hoodies. Polo shirts, button up shirts and ties, funky sweaters, sweater vests, and graphic t-shirts are the most prominent pieces of clothing lately. For the bottom part, wide leg trousers, leather pants and dress pants, in colors like beige, black, brown and grey are the most popular options for men. Finally, for footwear, white sneakers, chunky boots, moccasins/loafers and dress shoes are the most common.  

One of the most popular styles currently is the monochromatic look, which gives a very put-together appearance. These are all great options, and you can easily dress it up or down. In other words, you can make it elegant and sophisticated, or as relaxed and casual as you want. 

Now that you know what is trending, there will be no excuses for not dressing snazzy and bundle up for the cold season at the same time. So look into your closet, grab some pieces, and make an amazing outfit that’ll make you feel confident like you own the place.
