What have you accomplished so far? Probably not nearly as much as a girl named Abhijta Guptal who became the world’s youngest author at the age of just 7 years old.

Guptal is the granddaughter of the poet duo Rashtrakavi Maithilisharan Gupt and Santkavi Shri Siyaramsharan Gupt, according to Business-standard.com. She started writing at the age of 5, but her hobby of writing really took off during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Writing was a way for Guptal to stay engaged and positive. She also enjoys reading; reading was one of the reasons she developed a love for writing. She expresses herself a lot through her pencil and writes about everything she feels.

Happiness All Around is the title of her first book. In this book there are multiple poems and short stories about positive things she seen, felt and heard.

Her parents said that it was extremely difficult to find a publisher for her book because no one was interested, especially a book coming from a 7-year old. Finally, after a month, Invincible Publishers agreed to publish her book. Invincible only met Guptal twice, but they knew she had talent.

Her book was published without grammar checking because they wanted her book to be as pure as her age. Guptal said that she wants to donate all her earnings that she receives from her book to the less fortunate. Her parents were extremely shocked by this decision because it’s a really mature decision for a girl her age.

She is now spreading a positive impact to society to inspire young children to do what they love.
