Leah’s strengths will become evident in her new position.

At the end of September, students in all classes had the opportunity to learn about the candidates for Freshman and Sophomore officers in the Election section of The Armijo Signal. One of those candidates, Leah Patel, made such an impression on her classmates that she was chosen to represent the class as Vice President.

“I can use this opportunity to be able to help my fellow freshmen’s ideas be seen and heard,” she said.

The first thing I want to do with my new position is to help lead the Freshman Class in making our homecoming skit the best it can be!  But after that I would want to have meetings on matters such as fundraising and fun get-togethers. Homecoming is on Friday, October 15, and Patel has a lot to do in a short time.
