Arts and culture take center stage
This year, Vacaville is hosting its first Vacaville Arts Week. It’s shaping up to be unlike anything the city has hosted before.
From September 17–26, Vacaville Arts and Culture Alliance (VACA) is hosting “a citywide celebration of local artists, performers, and venues.” (https://bit.ly/3tCWz5P) It also celebrates different art mediums: painting, music, writing, dance, film, and others. The 2021 event is a love letter to Vacaville’s artistic expression of cultural diversity that you definitely don’t want to miss. Everyone of all ages is welcome to enjoy the family-friendly events!
Some events to look forward to include:
- Milan Institute of Cosmetology demonstrations on September 18
- Se Four Seasons of An Artist – Ag & Art Film Festival, Joyful Art Studio
- The 21st Annual Art, Wine & Brew Stroll on September 23 from 5-8 PM
- Enjoying the best short art films of 2019 and 2019 as well as Hank & Hazel’s Really Good Sausages on September 25 at 6:30 PM
- Watching a stream of the Vacaville Ballet Company’s Nightmare before Nutcracker from September 25–26
