A great game to play with friends

Video Game review – Overwatch

Overwatch is a 6v6 team based multiplayer first-person shooter game. It was released on May 24, 2016. The creators for the game are Blizzard Entertainment and the lead designer, Jeff Kaplan. Overwatch has good lore, amazing artwork, great maps and interesting characters. The graphic quality is very good and clearly a lot of time and effort was put into making smooth animations and character designs.

The game also has many good reviews; It currently has a 91% on Metacritic, 10/10 on IGN, and has won a few BAFTA awards as well. The game is available to play on PC, Playstation, X-Box, and the Nintendo Switch. It can be played with anyone as long as they have an internet connection.

However, cross-play is only available for the consoles and not for the desktop version, meaning that players who own the desktop version cannot play with those who own a console version, such as X-Box and Playstation. The gameplay itself is somewhat tricky and requires skill. Each player is selects from a roster of characters known as heroes.

Each of these heroes you can play as have their own unique powers, abilities and weapons. Twelve players are sorted into two teams who are free to pick a character. However, they’re cannot share characters within one game. The team of six is divided into three subgroups, with two players in each group.

The larger team is given an objective; either to capture a point or push an object. The opposing team’s goal is to prevent them from reaching that objective. The game is either won or lost if the team completes its objective or when the timer runs out. There are 21 game maps in Overwatch for different game modes, strategies, and objectives. There are five Assault maps, six Escort maps, five Hybrid maps, and five Control maps used for both quick and competitive gameplay. To choose a map, you have to create a custom game first. Overwatch has an official twitter feed that post often for updates and game events.

There is also plenty of fan-made content for the game, one being a popular meme remembered as “I’m Already Tracer” in 2018 when TikTok first came out. The quote is from the song “No Mercy,” which is an Overwatch fan made song created by The Living Tombstone. Overwatch is costs around $20 dollars, but the special edition with free cosmetic items has a higher price tag. It is a great game overall and highly requested. If you like multiplayer shooter games, this is the game for you. It has got good graphics and not a bad quality game in any way.
