Some highlights at the PAL Center for April:

• We will host a Spring Break Leadership bootcamp utilizing the Gallup’s Strengths Based Leadership curriculum.  Lead by a certified coach from Gallup, this is a great way for young leaders to start to understand how we grow natural talents into strengths using the Name It, Claim It, Aim It process.
• Our Soroptimist International of Solano County Girls Circle will continue exploring EMPOWERMENT and IDENTIFY on Social Media.
• We will explore the United States tax structure and Earth Day with a fun trivia tournament.
• The Community Circle will dig deeper into techniques to manage big emotions and provide a fun opportunity for members to share their thoughts and engage with others.
• The PAL Student Council will begin hosting listening circle with families and members to formulate their recommendations for our reopening plan.

We will be closed for the last few days of the month to allow staff to attend the annual Boost training, but will continue with Cooking with Cans, our online cooking class, our Fairfield/Suisun Rotary life after high school seminars -Ready to Succeed and our Solano County Community Investment Fund Career Café job readiness program.  Students who want to cook along from home, may call us to schedule PAL Express and have the items delivery right to their home!
