For the third year in a row, the month of December has been designated at National Car Donation Month, a time when people are encouraged to donate their cars to a charity.

In 2018, CauseNetworkFoundation.org encouraged people to donate their car so that charities could sell them for a profit. This becomes a win-win situation as the donor gets a tax write-off for the donation while the charity gets a means of raising money.  Once the charity has these cars, they are sold at an auction and the money made benefits the charity.

Not everyone has a car to donate, but those who don’t can support the mission during the month by adding #nationalcardonationmonth or #myridemycause to social media posts.
