What makes a role model? That’s up to you, but read some examples in the new issue!

Who are your role models? As a kid, you might have imagined a role model as a superhero or a public safety worker. Almost all role models have the same qualities: high moral values, caring for others, and determination. The point of having role models is to have someone that serves as an example and an influence on our lives. They can sometimes represent what we would like to achieve.
However, while you may think a role model is another person or a character that you look up to, a role model can also be someone who doesn’t exist yet. For example, many people have their future self as their role model because they want to strive to be reach those goals and become that future self. This creates a loop of always trying to be the best they can be. Now, try imagining the future self you would like to be and take little steps to become that person!
We have some very inspiring people here on our virtual campus: teachers, our friends in the office, and fellow students. The actions of these potential role models inspire us to be better people.
