Sibling spotlight: One roof, different relationships

Family comes in many varieties. One of the most unusual combinations of that of Destiny and Keanna Warren who are half-sisters, and their cousin Amos Joseph. They all live under the same roof, along with the Warren’s younger sister and older brother. And the middle three get a chance to share the campus as well as their home.

Most people on campus who know the trio know that they are related. “We always have someone to hang with and, if we ever need something, we always have each other’s back,” said Destiny. She and Keanna even share an English class.

While there are great things about sharing the campus, it is not always positive. “If I get in trouble at school and try to get out of it by lying, it won’t work, because they are going to use us against each other to find the truth,” admitted Joseph.

While this is the first time the three have attended school together, the girls are both considering going to college in Alabama. Joseph, on the other hand, wants to go into Job Corps and become a fire fighter for a living.

When it comes to having fun, each one has different interests. Destiny cheers for the Armijo squad and enjoys traveling with her family. Keanna prefers to go shopping. Joseph likes to spend his time playing video games or basketball.

Now that they’ve shared a little about their lives, more people will know that they are related and where they are headed in the future.
