Most of the year, Mr. Christian Stoll is an English teacher, standing in front of his classes and guiding them in the finer points of literature and essay-construction, but for a few months each year, he becomes Coach Stoll in the afternoons and evenings. Coach Stoll has been coaching basketball at Armijo for eight years. He currently serves as the Varsity Boys’ Basketball coach, but that isn’t always where he had coached.

At Armijo, Coach Stoll spent several years coaching the Varsity Girls’ Basketball team. He had always loved the game and one of his close friends was coaching basketball and encouraged him. He started coaching and has since had a passion for it. Coach Stoll has been a coach for golf and baseball, as well. Sports are one of his interests. He played basketball in high school, but not when he was in college at the University of Oregon. Now, he plays golf and loves to run to stay in shape. He has two daughters and spends much of his time with them.
