From coin collecting to juggling, hobbies appeal to people in different ways.

The three top hobbies for a high school student are music, photography, and sports. There are many hobbies that are inexpensive, but if students decide to take those hobbies outside of school, they will have to pay for lessons and equipment. Those same hobbies, when offered as a class or a club, can be significantly less since the school can provide some of the equipment and all of the training.

Some hobbies that don’t have a significant cost are drawing, hiking, and reading. Drawing might require paper and colored pencils; hiking should be done with good shoes, but reading can be easily done with a library card or even a school ID to check materials out at the Armijo library.

Stamp collecting, coin collecting, and juggling are some hobbies that aren’t as common and vary in price. Collecting things involve making an investment, in both time and money. Juggling can mean making an investment in your skills.

Hobbies can be an addiction .It is not bad having an addiction to something as long as it is not anything harmful and does not absorb too much time or money. Hobbies do not have a consequence as long as it is not harming any people in any type of way. The reason people have a hobby is because they enjoy doing that specific skill or activity, and the cost is a secondary factor.
