There’s been a lot of buzz lately about Mulan 2020, and while it might not be in theaters until March 27, 2020, it is based on a Disney cartoon version that is available on DVD or streaming. “I feel that the new Mulan movie is going to be as good as the past ones,” said Danna Andrade. Mulan is based on a true story about a Chinese warrior who lived during the Northern and Southern dynasties from in 420 to 589 CE. The new live-action movie is an epic adventure about this fearless young woman who masquerades as a man to fight Northern invaders attacking China . The movie takes place in New Zealand and China .

Mulan has impacted many women today because she was shown them that everything is possible no matter what shape, form, or gender, for those willing to take risks. The first Mulan movie was released on June 5, 1998, and was followed by a video sequel in 2004.
