Some clubs really took off at the annual Club Fair in September.

Every fall, in the beginning of the school year, Armijo hosts a Club Fair in the middle of campus to introduce students to the various clubs and organizations offered at the school. The event includes booths with club representatives, sign-up sheets, flyers, music and, in some cases, candy.

The Club Fair was held this year on September 27, and while it was designed for all students, it mainly focuses on freshmen to help them find ways to put themselves out there and meet new people, while possibly doing something that helps them.

There were dozens of booths promoting clubs to join. It can seem overwhelming, but it’s really fun even just going to the Club Fair allowed visitors to meet lots of people. There was food at some booths, and flyers or little gifts for people to join certain clubs. It was pretty windy and that made it a little bit of a challenge for some booths, but overall really fun.
