Stanley Jackson is the treasurer of the Senior Class, and that means he is responsible for the finances of his class. “I monitor the amount of money we have in our senior class funds,” he said. “I was interested [in the position] because I wanted to make sure we weren’t spending too much money.”

Jackson joined Student Government as a junior because he wanted to have a say in what was going on at Armijo. He would love to see other students take on that challenge in the future. “It will take a lot of work at first, and you can get things done,” he said.

“In school, I am also a part of the Multimedia Academy,” Jackson said. “I like spending time with my friends and playing video games.” In June, Jackson hopes to go to college use that interest, majoring in Computer Arts, with the intention of pursuing a career in game design. While he is at college, he does hope to continue drumming up school spirit.
