California-Hawaii Elks Association Scholarship for Students with Disabilities –

$1000-$2000, 20-30 Awards

Seniors: For current or graduating high school students, or passed GED or CHSPE Must be a U.S. citizen or resident of CA or Hawaii. Must have a physical impairment, neurological impairment, visual, hearing and/or speech-language disorder. Materials: application form, financial statement, official transcript of records, two letters of recommendation and essay.

HSF Scholarship – $500-$5000

Seniors of Hispanic Heritage: Plan to enroll Full-Time in an accredited, not-for-profit, 4-year university, or graduate school, during the FALL 2017. Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. U.S. Citizen, Permanent Legal Resident, DACA or Eligible Non-Citizen (as defined by FAFSA). Complete FAFSA or state based financial aid application (if applicable). All majors and graduate fields accepted. Emphasis on STEM majors.

Atlas Shrugged Essay Contest $20,000

SENIORS: The Atlas Shrugged Essay Contest is open to high school seniors, college undergraduates and graduate students. You must submit an essay of between 800 and 1600 words on a topic related to Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged. The three topic choices are listed on the sponsor’s website and essays will be judged on style and content.

E-waste Scholarship $1,000

9-12th: The E-waste Scholarship is available to high school, undergraduate or graduate students. You must be U.S. citizen or legal resident to qualify for this award. Complete the application form below including a 140-character message about e-waste. The top 10 applications will be selected as finalists. The finalists will be asked to write a full length 500- to 1,000-word essay about e-waste.
