Senior spotlight: Storing up memories for the future

In the four years that Jasvir Singh has been an Armijo student, he has had a lot of interesting experiences. While he hasn’t participated in any sports on campus, he does enjoy doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a hobby. He also enjoys weightlifting, listening to Rap and girls. At school, he has been involved in Friday Night Live and the College & Career Club.

He’s enjoyed his time as an Armijo student, especially last year’s fifth period class with Ms. Dudley. The one thing he wished were different about the school is the foreign language classes that they offer. There are just not enough of them.

Singh has an older brother, Anthony, who is his role model. “He is successful and I admire his perspective,” he said. He “gives advice based on his past experiences.” Singh also has three younger sisters.

Next year, Singh will be attending a community college with plans to transfer to a UC. His intent is to major in Mechanical Engineering with the hope of becoming a mechanical engineer.
