Meet the editor: Jasmine has Class

Hello! I’m Jasmine Reyes. I’m a junior and your classes and clubs editor for the Armijo Signal! I find it the most difficult job to write about or even talk about myself so I’d like to keep this short and sweet.

If you see me, I’m probably raving about a new movie, laughing at some nonsense, or getting wide-eyed at a sudden influx of motivation to do something spontaneous. I love to sing and to make and learn about films in my free time as I do the normal snack-and-binge routine with my trusty sidekick, Netflix. Like any normal teenager, I’m also probably procrastinating in the stark illumination of my electronics.

Aside from my hobbies, I love indie music, pasta, boba drinks (religiously), Miyazaki anime films, the magic of Hollywood, travelling, yellow, filmography, tennis, and all things vintage and retro. I strive to enjoy the little and peculiar things in life while I try my best to stray away from one of my worst fears — departing from that childish spark that fuels my excitement and oblivion for every day.

I am so happy to be an editor this year for the Armijo Signal and am excited to continue contributing to this awesome newspaper.

If you ever see me walking around campus, don’t hesitate to smile or wave ‘hello.’ It makes my day!
